JURA’s A1 Super-Automatic Espresso Machine is the slimmest machine in their catalog to feature their revolutionary Pulse Extraction Process. By pulsing water through the grounds, the A1 achieves greater clarity of flavor and a more defined crema.
Features and Performance
This space saving machine has three programmable coffee specialties and can produce an Espresso, Ristretto, or Long Coffee at the touch of a button. Each drink can be programmed with your preferred strength (1 of 2 settings) and volume. The bean hopper holds 4.4oz of whole bean coffee and the water reservoir capacity is 37oz. The A1’s dregs container holds about 9 servings before you need to empty it. The coffee spout is adjustable for different size cups from 2.3 to 5.6 inches. There is also a bypass doser that allows you to brew using pre-ground coffee.
The bean hopper features an aroma preservation cover keeps the coffee fresh, while the Aroma G3 grinder makes short, quiet work of them. The combination of the P.E.P. brewing and JURA’s intelligent pre-brew aroma system ensures that your espresso is dispensed piping hot with a rich crema. A thermoblock boiler and the high-performance 15 bar pump gives you rapid delivery of pressurized brewing water at the right temperature.
The replaceable CLEARYL Blue water filter cartridge guards against scale build-up. There is also an integrated rinsing, cleaning and descaling cycle built into the machines electronic programming. The automatic energy-saving mode, programmed switch-off time and patented Zero-Energy Switch ensure high energy efficiency. The environmentally friendly electronics uses 0 power during standby.
